Antique c.1860 18k Gold Miniature Keywind Case Clock Pendant Blue Enamel Dial

Case: 18k gold, 28x36.5mm, not including the bail

A very similar piece sold at a 2006 Antiqourum auction.

An incredible antique pendant that is in the form of a working keywind clock. The case of the clock is made out of 18k gold (tested with XRF), it can be opened to wind the movement and set the hands. The movement is working and actually keeping decent time, that being said no guarantees can be made for timekeeping due to the age and unknown service history. A small folded note card from Marshall Field's Fields Afar accompanies the pendant. A key is included with the pendant.
