Vintage 1940s Zeus 38mm Steel Clamshell Chronograph Watch Black Dial Valjoux 22

Dial: Original, wear on right edge, some paint wear on chrono hand

The watch is in good vintage condition. It is a 38mm clamshell case with the patent number 189190 inside the caseback. The black dial has the Zeus text blacked out on the dial, not sure what would be the reason for this. The Valjoux 22 movement is unsigned, it is running well and keeping good time although total accuracy and duration cannot be guaranteed. The chronograph function is working as it should. I believe the clamshell screws are replacements as they screw down fine but don't seem to seat flush. Inside the caseback it is notated that a pusher was replaced.
