Vintage 1978 Rolex Datejust 16000 Mens Steel 14k Gold Watch Converted from Steel

Case: Steel & 14k, 36x44mm, very light initials and SS number on caseback

Crystal: Heavy crazing

Dial: Likely added when watch was converted to 2 tone, sigma dial, excellent condition

Movement: Rolex 3035

This is kind of an odd one, it is a ref.16000 which should be a steel case with smooth steel bezel.  It has been converted into a two tone watch with a 14k gold fluted bezel.  The 78360 bracelet has also been converted to contain 14k gold center links instead of the original steel ones.  I have heard stories about this being in the past and this is the first I have seen.  The 3035 movement is running well although the service history is unkown.  The oyster bracelet will fit up to a 7 1/2" inch wrist.
