We did some research using the engraved information on the ring and discovered Robert Estes was a high decorated helicopter pilot in Vietnam with the nickname "Papa Pig". Estes was was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Army Commendation as well as 30 various Air Medal awards.
